lead appellate court attorney with the Third District Court
of Appeal, has pulled the paperwork to run as
a write-in candidate against embattled incumbent Sac Superior
Court Judge
Peter J. McBrien on November 4 and expects to have the nomination
papers filed by the end of the week. Admitted to the bar in 1994,
Smith received
both his undergraduate and law degree from UC Davis.
